This position has a set schedule with normal business hours, we provide nights and weekends off through use of our Care XM call center for after-hours calls.
The position and responsibilities you would be assuming as the Director of Health Services/RN for our community include: The Registered Nurse assures health services issues of residents, as well as other service issues of residents that potentially impact upon health, are effectively addressed. The RN also teaches and encourages our health services staff to perform health service responsibilities effectively and graciously. If you are a talented teacher, this is the job for you. Our staff are eager to learn and be supported. The Director of Health Services also performs some duties related to employee health and safety.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN License
• Senior Housing Experience Preferred but not required
• Ability to put residents first
• Multitasking in a fast paced environment
• Organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines
• Good judgement and professional maturity
• Ability to lead in industry of constant change
• Strong computer skills  - Microsoft Office Suite, EMAR
• Successful employee management experience

Together, our Health Services team coordinates and manages assisted living resident care in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules and community-based care requirements in alignment with State Board of Nursing standards of practice.

Duties include:

• Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitors and addresses consulting pharmacy reports.
• Monitors resident incident reports and completes review.
• Advises health services employees concerning resident health issues.
• Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual issues.
• Assists health services team in development of service plans, assuring health service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact upon health are effectively addressed.
• Addresses issues regarding unavailable medications or treatment supplies, informing Administrator as necessary.
