Coming Soon! The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences for those 62 and older. This state-of-the-art, 12-story senior living community will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. Interior spaces are warm and inviting, featuring high-end amenities and services suitable to an urban setting, including secure underground parking. Job Description:   

The Springs at The Waterfront is seeking a Health Services Administrator, responsible for leading and directing the daily operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care. Here at The Springs Living, our purpose is to help our residents, their families, and each other live life to its fullest, and that begins with excellent and compassionate leadership that cares about Doing the Right Thing. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated leader committed to providing excellent care and attention to those we serve. This position reports to the Executive Director.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. 
  • Assures adherence to community budget. 
  • Assures a stable staff of optimal quantity and quality, by interviewing, hiring, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating employees. 
  • Assures all employees are consistently educated and trained, including fulfilling any federal and/or state regulations, through new employee orientation and regular education and training classes. 
  • Assures service needs of all residents consistently identified, through initial contact, initial screening, and subsequent evaluation processes. 
  • Assures service needs of all residents are consistently addressed, through development and implementation of service plans. 
  • Assures adherence to all department systems, so that the mission and goals of each department is reached. 
  • Assures maintenance of Admission and Discharge Record. 
  • Assures resident, employee, or physical plant problems that arise after usual business hours are addressed promptly and effectively, either by being personally available by telephone or by assigning other appropriate staff to be similarly available. 
  • Effectively and dynamically leads employees, inspiring their confidence and motivating them to consistently perform their duties according to highest standards. 
  • Assures environment for employees in which they consistently feel valued and respected. 
  • Assures environment for residents that is homelike, provides choice, independence, privacy, individuality and dignity. 

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments. 
  • AL & MC regulations knowledge. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. 

Job Type: Full-time   

Salary:   

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Health Services Administrator position, with an annual salary range of $75K-$90K depending on experience. This position may be also eligible for a year end discretionary bonus.
