Description:
   

As the Director of Health Services RN, you will work closely with the families, staff, and outside providers at The Springs at Wilsonville for our Memory Care units. You will use your diverse knowledge and exceptional relational skills to promote positive outcomes for our residents. Additionally, you will use your coaching abilities to teach our staff how to provide exceptional care to our residents.   

  • Develop lasting relationships with residents and families. Make meaningful connections with long-term residents and see the lasting impact of your excellent care.
  • Make a meaningful impact in not only the lives of seniors but also the lives of staff that you will help teach, grow, and empower.
Responsibilities include:   
  • Assures compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services.
  • Performs nursing assessments and assists in the development of service plans, assuring health service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact health, are effectively addressed.
  • Performs all responsibilities related to RN delegation of nursing tasks.
  • Conducts continuing education and training for health services employees and other employees as necessary.
  • Monitors physician orders/laboratory results and assures correct implementation.
  • Monitors alert charting, especially to assure appropriate employee response to issues and to determine need for RN assessment.
  • Monitors and addresses consulting pharmacy reports.
  • Monitors resident incident reports.
  • Advises health services employees concerning resident health issues.
  • Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual issues.
  • Assists in development of service plans, assuring health service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact upon health, effectively addressed.
  • Attends service plan meetings as necessary.

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, some occasional evenings and weekends as needed  

Qualifications:   
  • Oregon RN License.
  • Senior Housing Experience required, Memory Care experience preferred
  • Warmth and compassion for residents and staff.
  • Ability to put residents first.
  • Multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines.
  • "Can Do" Attitude.
  • Good judgement and professional maturity.
  • Ability to lead in industry of constant change.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Successful employee management experience.
