Coming Soon! The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences. This state-of-the-art, 12-story building will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. Interior spaces are warm and inviting, featuring high-end amenities and services suitable to an urban setting, including secure underground parking. Our multi-unit luxury building offers multiple fine-dining venues with destination waterfront views, a pub, juice & coffee counter services, wine bar, outdoor eatery, room service, and catering options.

Job Description:

The Springs at The Waterfront seeks an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager, to operate multiple dining venues in an up-scale environment. In our effort to provide the best customer service to our residents and families, we recognize that high quality food and excellent dining service is a top priority. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the professional execution of all aspects of the dining experience; including catering services, community events, private diners, and room service
  • Develop a positive work environment that supports exceptional service and staff retention
  • Hire, supervise, schedule, train, coach, and conduct reviews for dining room staff
  • Work closely with the bar staff to train on technique, and cocktail creation
  • Maintain the POS system
  • Ensure all dining areas are pristine
  • Empathize and understand our residents have specific needs
  • Work in partnership with the Food & Beverage Director to maintain high standards of service


  • 5 plus years of managerial experience in large, up-scale, fine dining establishments
  • Must possess strong food, beverage, and wine knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of food safety & sanitation practices, workplace safety culture
  • You love exceeding resident expectations
  • Committed to excellent training
  • Must possess strong communication and active listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing
  • Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills. Has the ability to set priorities, organize time, demonstrate initiative and work independently

Job Type: Full-time


The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Restaurant Operations Manager position, with an annual salary range of $60k-86K depending on experience. This position may be also eligible for a year end discretionary bonus.
