Coming Soon! The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences for those 62 and older. This state-of-the-art, 12-story senior living community will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. Interior spaces are warm and inviting, featuring high-end amenities and services suitable to an urban setting, including secure underground parking. Job Description:

The Springs at The Waterfront seeks an experienced Lead Dining Room Server with warmth, a positive and friendly attitude, a clear purpose of excellent service, impeccable timeliness teamwork, organization skills, and love for seniors! On the beautiful waterfront, we offer multiple dining venues in an up-scale environment, with award-winning cuisine, that is farm to table. If you are a servant leader with fine-dining experience and have a passion for hospitality, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting residents (and visitors) at the table
• Serving residents beverages and meals in a courteous, friendly, helpful and accurate manner
• Light bartending required
• Delivering room service as necessary
• Bussing dining room tables and cleaning chairs
• Resetting tables for the next meal
• Side work/cleaning as assigned
• Coach, train, and inspire a team of servers
• Communicate the clear purpose of excellent restaurant service
• Implement systems and process to improve the dining room experience for staff and residents
• Empathize and understand our residents have specific needs

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of previous fine dining experience
• Wine and alcohol service experience required
• Barista experience preferred
• Experience handling reservations
• Experience serving multi-course or complex menus
• Self-directed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Lead Dining Room Server position, with an hourly wage range of $19.00-$21.50 depending on experience.
