Description
The Springs at Greer Gardens, a premier senior housing community in Eugene, is seeking a customer service professional to join our dining team. We offer Restaurant-style dining in 4 separate dining areas.
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for the management of the dining staff ensuring friendly and professional service for our residents and their guests.
This is a full-time, salaried position with no late nights.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coach and inspire a team of servers, sometimes first-time servers
- Hire, supervise, schedule, and evaluate front of house staff
- Communicate the clear purpose and execution of excellent restaurant service
- Implement systems and processes to improve the dining room experience for staff and residents
- Flexibility and adaptability in performing multiple tasks in high pressure situations
- Oversee all front of house services including catering and special events
- Empathize and understand our residents have specific needs
- Support and drive Employee Development and Engagement
- Demonstrate consistent Performance Management
- Assure high standards in appearance and cleanliness of dining rooms and staff

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years dining, restaurant, or hospitality management
- Proven Leadership experience and successes
- Computer savvy, menu production a plus
- Strong general management skills, including time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results.
- Must pass background check & drug test
- This is a salaried manager position that requires dedication to staff development and flexibility in hours
