Job Description:
Responsibilities include attending to HVAC needs as arise, light housekeeping, carpet cleaning, package delivery, general maintenance, and addressing resident and building problems.
Our ideal candidate is flexible, friendly, observant, patient, organized, and enjoys helping with whatever need may arise!
Job Duties:
- Assists residents with packages, groceries and more if needed.
- Empties all trash/recycle.
- Assists with maintenance duties such as unclogging drains, general cleanup, and hauling materials.
- Assists with HVAC issues.
- Conducts security rounds on property.
- Assists in maintaining the exterior of the building.
- Sets up for special functions as needed (sound, PA, Seating arrangements).
- Maintains common areas through carpet cleaning, painting touch up, minor wood staining, and floor cleaning.
- Cleans common spaces and bathrooms
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Schedule: Part-Time Fri-Mon 4 hour shifts
Qualifications:
- No experience required- we will train the right person!
- 18 years or older
- Desire to improve building maintenance skills strongly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in construction and/or apartment maintenance preferred but not required
Additional Information *Physical Demands and Requirements*
- Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist, and reach
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/handle items.
- Must be able to walk throughout campus on a frequent for extended periods of time (up to 7 hours)
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous daily activities

- May be exposed to bio hazardous materials including, but not limited to, blood and bodily fluids, sharps exposure, animal dander, and latex.
