The Springs Living seeks Jack or Jill-of-all-trades with the perfect blend of personal warmth and technical skills. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, carpet cleaning, light maintenance, and addressing resident and building problems. Our ideal candidate is flexible, friendly, observant, patient, organized, and enjoys helping with whatever need may arise!
Job Duties:
- Assists residents with packages, groceries and more if needed.
- Empties all trash/recycle daily.
- Delivers mail packages to residents.
- Assists in maintaining the exterior and interior of the building.
- Sets up for special functions as needed.
- Maintains common areas through carpet cleaning, painting touch up, minor wood staining, and floor cleaning.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist with occasional light-duty maintenance assistant tasks Including unclogging drains and toilets.
Qualifications
- No experience required!
- 18 years or older
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Windows based PC programs, data logging/entry.
- Previous experience in construction and/or apartment maintenance preferred but not required
- The ideal candidate is interested in breaking into the senior living industry and is looking for an entry level position to learn building and facilities maintenance and repair.
- We are in compliance with the State of Oregon's requirement that all workers in a healthcare setting be fully vaccinated. Religious and medical exceptions will be recognized within the terms of the rule.
Currently hiring for the following shift and schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30am - 8:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.95 - $19.00 per hour D.O.E.
