Job Description:
The Springs Living is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to join our team in McMinnville, OR. This is the perfect entry level position for a college graduate, looking to grow in their career! The Financial Analyst supports the Strategic Finance team, which oversees Acquisitions and Development, FP&A, and Asset Management. This team drives performance optimization, proactively creates value, and mitigates risk through a deep understanding of the business, while serving as a strategic business partner to the Community Operations team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Investment and Risk Evaluation: Support TSL’s growth by analyzing financial aspects of new senior housing developments, acquisitions, and asset restructurings
- Financial Performance Analysis: Analyze financial data related to senior housing operations, providing timely insights to inform strategic decisions
- Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist in preparing operating budgets and long-term plans while monitoring KPIs while aligning with operational needs
- Asset Management & Continuous Improvement: Assist in the creation, management, and monitoring of physical plant budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial efficiency improvements without compromising quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in finance, real estate or economics
- Proven ability to analyze data from multiple sources including internal and external systems and resources
- Advanced skills in utilizing Excel, BI, PowerPivot, PowerPoint and Accounting Software for advance analytics
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations provide feedback, coaching and training, and to resolve problems
- Must be capable of developing relationships with a wide variety of industry participants
