Life Enrichment Assistant - Full Time

Description
Necessary characteristics and skills for this position include: presenting a professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, reliability, excellent verbal communications abilities, high standard of ethics and integrity, and creativity in carrying out community activities.
This position is a great entry level opportunity for an independent worker who will take the lead in encouraging resident participation and have sensitivity to the resident's individual needs, as well as be a team player who loves to collaborate!
- Create and facilitate a variety of activities for residents (example: Bingo, cooking + baking, dancing, arts + crafts)
- Event planning (seasonal celebrations, parties and more!)
- Office work (filing, printing, emailing)
- Encourage resident participation
- And more!
- Previous experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required!
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications is a plus, but not required!
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Memory Care experience is a plus.
- A positive, creative, solutions oriented thinker
- Experience with event planning/hosting is a plus but not required
Schedule: Full Time, Weekends Required. Ideal Schedule would be (Friday-Tuesday or Sunday-Thursday)
