The Springs at Clackamas Woods seeks a Full Time Night Porter who is a jack-of-all-trades with the perfect blend of personal warmth and technical skills! Our ideal candidate is flexible, friendly, observant, patient, organized, and enjoys helping with whatever need may arise! 
  
Job Duties Include:   
  • Addressing resident and building problems
  • Assist Residents with packages, groceries, and more if needed
  • Empties all trash and recycling 
  • Assists with light maintenance such as unclogging drains, general clean up, paint touch up, carpet and floor cleaning, minor patch work, and other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Light housekeeping such as cleaning of common spaces and public restrooms
  • Answering emergency resident calls 
  • Conducts security rounds of property
  • Assists with set up for special functions as needed (i.e. Coning off parking area, setting up tables, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Schedule: Evenings/Overnight 
Wednesdays 12:00am-6:00am, Thursday - Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am 
Salary: $18 - $20 Hour DOE
  
Qualifications:   
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in construction and/or apartment maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Additional Information:   
  • Maintain the ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority or the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist, and reach
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with fingers and to reach/handle items
  • Must be able to walk throughout campus frequently for extended periods of time
  • Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous daily activities

Typical environmental conditions:

  • May be exposed to bio hazardous materials including but not limited to blood and bodily fluids, sharps exposure, animal dander, and latex
