The Maintenance Assistant for our community supports the Maintenance Director to assure proper, consistent maintenance of our community including building interior and exterior, grounds, walkways, driveways and parking lot. Days Tuesday - Saturday
Essential functions of the job are:
  • Support proper and consistent maintenance of facility exterior, including building, lawn, plant and/or flower beds, walkways, driveways, and parking lot.
  • Support proper and consistent maintenance of facility interior, including resident apartments, common areas, offices, storage rooms, and kitchen.
  • Assures all equipment and supplies related to maintenance tasks are stored appropriately and safely.
  • Assures Maintenance Director is regularly informed of facility status and particularly of any significant problems for which guidance is necessary.
  • Assures all equipment and supplies related to maintenance tasks are stored appropriately and safely.
Some additional functions:
  • Demonstrates safe working practices at all times.
  • Cooperates with others to effectively and efficiently achieve goals and resolve problems
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff at all times.
  • Meets the needs and wishes of customers (residents, staff, and families) appropriately by being prompt, polite, professional and personal.
  • Consistently reports to work on-time and completes scheduled shifts.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 30 per week

Experience:
  • Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
