As a Resident Services Coordinator (RSC), you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Assisted Living residents receive the highest quality care while supporting families and leading our health services team of caregivers and med techs. In this position you will work closely with the community nurse and health services administrator to ensure the accuracy and excellence of care for our treasured residents.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents and families regarding care needs.
- Manage resident charts and care updates, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with the team.
- Lead care conferences with residents and families to ensure care plans align with their needs and preferences.
- Manage caregiver and med tech schedules, including finding coverage for open shifts.
- Be on-call for open caregiver or med-tech shifts.
- Assist in conducting continuing education and training for employees.
- Assist in counseling and coaching employees as needed.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with eMAR systems, electronic charting, and scheduling tools.

- Reliability & Organization: Strong attendance, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience as a Medication Technician in a long-term care setting
- Experience creating comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs preferred
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, residents, employees and general public
- Ability to interpret and communicate a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charting standards, physician orders, or administrative regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
