Description
The Springs at Carman Oaks is seeking a Line cook for our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. This beautifully designed campus offers a variety of amenities including restaurant-style dining, a pool and spa, a fitness center, gardens, and more.

Our ideal Sous Chef has the perfect blend of personal warmth and professional cooking skills for our full service kitchen. In our effort to provide dynamic and excellent customer service to our residents and families, we recognize that high quality food and dining service is a priority. The Sous Chef is responsible to work hand in hand with our Executive Chef to support the dining team in a professional manner, as well as set a superior example in culinary skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass criminal background and drug test
- Love for seniors and willingness to learn
- 1 year Prior professional culinary experience, fine dining setting preferred
- No late night hours
Responsibilities
- Utilize culinary experience to prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Execute fine dining cooking techniques to ensure the delivery of exceptional and visually appealing meals.
- Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service and timely delivery to customers.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to guarantee a safe dining experience for all patrons.
