Job Success Coach – Employee Resource Network

Position Overview: The Job Success Coach is essential to helping individuals succeed in their employment journeys through guidance, skill-building, and support based on the Employee Resource Network (ERN-USA) model. By delivering personalized coaching and leveraging the ERN-USA network of resources, the Job Success Coach helps individuals overcome employment barriers, build career resilience, and achieve sustained growth and stability. This role is ideal for a committed professional with a background in career coaching, human resources, or workforce development, with a passion for making a lasting impact on individuals’ lives and careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Coaching and Support (Based on ERN-USA Principles):

  • Provide one-on-one coaching tailored to the ERN-USA model, focusing on helping individuals navigate and overcome common employment barriers.
  • Develop personalized action plans for clients, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement to enhance job performance and retention.
  • Offer guidance on essential workplace topics, such as communication skills, time management, adapting to organizational culture, and career advancement.
  • Act as a resource navigator, connecting clients with services available through the ERN-USA network, such as transportation assistance, childcare resources, financial planning, and other supportive services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ERN-USA member organizations and local service providers to ensure clients have access to the full spectrum of resources they need for job and personal stability.
  • Conduct skill-building workshops and training sessions based on ERN-USA guidelines, covering topics like resume development, interviewing skills, and networking.
  • Identify skill gaps and tailor training to meet the evolving needs of clients, ensuring they are equipped for retention and advancement in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with clients to set achievable, individualized career goals aligned with the ERN-USA model, providing continuous mentorship and guidance.
  • Use ERN-USA goal-setting frameworks to help clients map out short- and long-term career paths, focusing on resilience and adaptability.
  • Develop partnerships with employers and ERN-USA member organizations to create job placement opportunities and ensure employer expectations align with coaching practices.
  • Engage with community resources to support employment sustainability and integrate community knowledge and labor trends into coaching sessions.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, goals, progress, and resource usage within the ERN-USA network, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit reports on program metrics and outcomes, focusing on areas for enhancement based on ERN-USA goals and feedback.
  • Engage in training on the ERN-USA model and best practices in career coaching and workforce development.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, local labor market changes, and ERN-USA updates to continually enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Certification in career coaching or ERN-USA training is a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in career coaching, workforce development, or similar fields. Experience with ERN-USA networks and service navigation is preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies: 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to motivate and encourage.
  • Familiarity with ERN-USA resources, labor markets, and employment trends.
  • High level of cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a network model.

Work Environment: This role may require community travel to meet clients and engage with ERN-USA partners. Flexible hours may be needed to meet clients’ schedules and access available resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
